I can say, without any doubt, there is really no band out there like Electric Six.  There aren’t many bands who can keep putting out familiar yet distinctive albums on a regular basis either.  While their newest CD Kill isn’t quite as good as last year’s Flashy, I applaud them for some solid moments (including auto-freakin-tune on “The Newark Airport Boogie”).

Replacing a lead singer is a tricky business, but Alice in Chains took their time in easing William DuVall into the fold, and that’s a good thing.  Black Gives Way to Blue is a worthy album to add to their discography.
